Clinton and Obama Close in New Hampshire Polls

Barack Obama is within striking distance of Democratic front-runner Hillary Clinton in two states, new polls for the 2008 White House race show. In New Hampshire, site of the first primary, Clinton has a 7-point lead over Obama.

The Franklin Pierce College WBZ-TV poll puts Clinton at 32 percent and Obama 25. John Edwardss gets 16 percent, according to the survey of 401 likely Democratic primary voters, taken March 7-11, with a plus-or-minus 4.9-point margin of error.
