John McCain Formally Announces Run For The Presidency

During a re-appearance on The Late Show with David Letterman, John McCain formally announces his bid to run for US President. While he formed his Presidential Exploratory Committee back in November, his announcement officially kicks-off his running for the next President.
"I am announcing that I will be a candidate for president of the United States," McCain told Letterman.
"We are going to formally announce it in early April," John Weaver, a top advisor to McCain, told CNN. Weaver said the time and location will be announced at a later date.
